Hello ~

I'm Brandon Laughinghouse

I am a Psychedelic Coach, Biofeedback Practitioner & Plant Medicine Facilitator/Mentor/Educator

With over a decade of experience in high-performance coaching and the therapeutic use of psychedelics for personal transformation, I intertwine psychedelic science, energy healing, and metaphysical tools to create a holistic path to healing and self-mastery. My work integrates Genius Biofeedback scans, allowing my clients to track their energetic field, identify emotional imbalances related to core beliefs, ancestral patterns, and fundamental fears in order to fine-tune their microdosing journey and integration practices.

I specialize in personalized psilocybin and LSD microdosing protocols, helping individuals harness the power of these medicines for:
● Neuroplasticity & enhanced focus
● Emotional healing & trauma integration
● Anxiety, Depression, and Addiction recovery
● Increased resilience & motivation
● Spiritual growth & consciousness expansion

I also sit on the Council of Integrity for the global organization, Plant Medicine Portal. And I'm  an organizer for the Psychedelic Society of Asheville, leading community discussions and educational events focused on psychedelic healing, music, and integration.

I created Zen Kai as a way to fulfill my purpose for my life.

Welcome.

The Spirit of Zenkai was born from Kaizen philosophies as gradual, intentional, consistent, and incremental changes towards the ideal state of the individual. Fully activating the best possible capacities of the individual.   How do you define an ideal state?  The “ideal state” means "The Best" circumstances and environment (internal and external) for the person (mind, body, spirit) as a whole.

I look forward to serving you, to help you find and live your personal life purpose.

Supporting clients with their own deep study in life by consistently and intentionally thinking and acting upon what matters most (the main thing), incorporating balance and wholeness, while allowing for fully aligned abundance, transformation (transmutation), and life manifestations of service to occur.

The purpose of my life is to be fully present, grounded, and authentic; while being fully alive and vibrant in the moment; to be intentional and consistent with my actions from a place of integrity; strengthening and sharing my gifts, so that, I may inspire and empower others to live a life they truly love and desire;  with joy, meaning and purpose.

Background & Experience

My path to becoming a Psychedelic Coach and integration guide for plant and psychedelic medicines was born from my own healing journey. Psychedelics played a crucial role in helping me overcome addiction, grief, PTSD, and anxiety, and I’ve dedicated myself to supporting others on their paths to healing and self-discovery. I have been immersed in this field for 30 years; recreationally first, then therapeutically for 7 years, and professionally for the past 4  years.

I graduated from Third Wave’s Coaching Certification program and have undergone extensive mentorship and training to refine my approach.

I specialize in the integration of LSD and psilocybin, with a deep appreciation for LSD and mescaline as microdosing compounds. My experience spans working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating lower case “t” trauma, mental health challenges, lack of performance and spiritual crises. I am part of a broad network of professionals within Third Wave and locally in Asheville, allowing me to provide referrals when additional support is needed.

Approach & Methodology

To me, integration is the most essential component of plant medicine work; it is where transformation truly happens. My approach is rooted in (5) pillars of awareness, self-regulation, motivation, interpersonal connection, and collective well-being.

I guide clients through preparation and integration with a performance-based curriculum that focuses on clarity, energy, courage, productivity, and influence. I integrate biofeedback to help
individuals self-regulate, uncover core beliefs, navigate fundamental fears, and work through ancestral patterns.

Breathwork, meditation, journaling, and movement are all key tools in my process. I tailor my approach to each individual, helping them translate their experiences into sustainable,
actionable change.

     Personal Practice &

Continued Growth

I continue my own integration work through personal plant medicine practices, self-inquiry, and ongoing education.

Psychedelics have continuously challenged and deepened my
understanding of myself and my work. Each client I support teaches me something new, and I remain committed to evolving as an integration provider. Maintaining my own energetic and emotional well-being is crucial, and I do so through mindfulness, nature, movement, and staying connected to a strong community of practitioners.

What inspires me most is the undeniable potential of these compounds. We have access to medicines that work incredibly well (they actually work ;) for mental and behavioral health, and I am honored to guide and support others in harnessing their power for healing, growth, and transformation.

Client Relationships & Expectations

A typical integration session is a collaborative space for reflection, processing, and strategy. I work with clients in both structured and flexible formats; while some require just one session, while others benefit from ongoing support over weeks or months; I thoroughly enjoy the long term relationship and intentional focus on growth and continuous improvement on the “self’.

The most common challenges post-journey include resistance to change, integrating insights into daily life, and confronting deep-seated patterns. I help clients navigate these by providing structure, accountability, and a clear roadmap for integration. For me, a successful integration is when someone not only understands their psychedelic experience but embodies it; applying their insights in a way that leads to long-term transformation. Trusting the process.
